WHERE IS THE YORK STD CLINIC

Our private STI clinic is located outside of York city centre, in Flaxton, and is also accessible to those visiting from Harton, Barton-le-Willows, or Bossall. If you’re getting to us via car, use the A64. The clinic has a small car park which can be used by clients, meaning access by car is easy. The clinic also offers excellent access to private sexual health testing for anyone living and working in York City Centre.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I’VE DEPOSITED MY SAMPLE?

Once you’ve deposited your sample they will be taken to our laboratory for testing. Here we’ll gain your results using the most accurate testing methods available. When we gain your results you’ll be notified using the contact method specified during purchase, which is either telephone or email.

In the unfortunate event that your results come back positive, these can be discussed and actioned by your own GP. We can also recommend an independent private GP service if you prefer who can discuss your circumstances and manage further as required. This service will be free of charge to you.
