All of our tests deliver 100% accurate results attained in a medical laboratory meaning you can be confident in any findings.
Our testing process could not be easier. All you have to do is select the tests that you require and when we receive your payment we will post the containers for your sample to you. Once you receive your throat swab kit all you have to do is take a sample and post it back to us – instructions are provided. When we receive your sample we will acquire the results within 2 days.
Once we know the results of your test we will contact you immediately via your preferred contact method (telephone or email). If your test is positive we will offer you a free telephone consultation where our doctor will discuss your future treatment, management and forward referral. Our service is 100% confidential and no entry will be made on your personal medical record.
Somewhere in the region of 200,000 people in the UK have chlamydia each year and the disease often has no symptoms. The first sign of infection is often a positive result on an STD test. The lack of symptoms means many people have it without knowing and often pass it on to their sexual partners. If you’ve had unprotected sex or a one night stand then you could have the condition. Gonorrhoea is an STD caused by the Neisseria gonorrhoeae or gonococcus bacteria and used to be known as ‘the clap’. It can be passed through unprotected sex or sharing sex toys that haven’t been properly washed after use. The typical symptoms of gonorrhoea include thick discharge from the vagina or penis and pain whilst urinating. Similar to chlamydia however, many people don’t have symptoms.
