Who is this test for?

People living with HIV have a heightened risk of contracting Hepatitis B & C. Around 1 in 10 people with HIV have Hepatitis B, whilst 1 in 4 people with HIV have Hepatitis C. Therefore regular testing against hepatitis if you are living with HIV is essential. This test is also useful if you believe you have been exposed to hepatitis.

Turnaround Time

This test has a quick turnaround time, with results often returned within 1 day of the sample hitting the lab. All samples are sent to the laboratory using Royal Mail 1st Class Post or by courier.

Incubation Period

This test offers accurate results 28 days following initial exposure to Hepatitis, therefore it should not be used before this time. If you are concerned about Hepatitis and it’s been less than 28 days since exposure our Early Detection tests offer accurate results 10 days after exposure. If you have any questions contact our customer services team today.

Clinic test procedure

By selecting a clinic test you’ll be assisted by a nurse or doctor in one of our sexual health clinics located across the country.

1. Book your test

To book this test, simply press the ‘Select This Test’ button above. You’ll then be taken to our booking page where you can choose the best clinic for your needs.

2. Arrive at the clinic

Our clinics are all based in a discreet setting and because many of them are general health clinics, there’s no reason why anyone will know that you’re there for a sexual health screening. Just let the receptionist know who you are upon arrival.

3. Your blood sample

The Profile 7 test requires a blood sample only. The blood sample is collected by a trained nurse or doctor. They’ll take care of you and ensure you’re comfortable, but it will require the use of a needle.

4. Now we’ll take care of your results

Once you’ve deposited your sample, we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll notify you of your results using our online portal as soon as they’re reported by the laboratory.

How It Works

We offer a comprehensive range of testing options against all common STIs. You can test in one of our private sexual health clinics or in the comfort of your own home.
