Turnaround time

This test has a two day turnaround time once it reaches the laboratory to gain accurate results. Remember that it may take up to two days for your sample to reach the laboratory once tested.

This test will offer accurate results from 14 days following potential exposure. Testing before this time can lead to inaccurate results, where you think you are clear, but in actual fact you are still infected. Always take note of the Accuracy From date on our tests before testing.

Is this test right for me?

This test is for anyone who has received anal sex from a man. If you have also had oral sex, vaginal sex or you are a man who has given penetrative anal sex to someone else then you will also need to carry out either throat swab or urine sample tests.  Contact our team to find out more about any of our tests.
