How is the test carried out?
This test is carried out using a blood sample which can be collected at one of our clinics located across the country. You’ll also be required to bring your passport with you to your appointment so that our nurse can verify that it’s you who is being tested.
Results for this test and your certificate will be available three days following their receipt by the laboratory.
When can I take this test?
This test offers accurate results 28 days following potential exposure from any of the conditions tested. However, for visa applications this is usually not important.
Clinic test procedure
This test is only available as a clinic test. By selecting a clinic test you’ll be assisted by a nurse or doctor in one of our sexual health clinics located across the country.
1. Book your test
To book this test, simply press the ‘Select This Test’ button above. You’ll then be taken to our booking page where you can choose the best clinic for your needs.
2. Bring photo ID with you
If you require a certificate of your results it is important that you bring photo ID. Failure to bring your ID means we can’t verify your identity and we won’t be able to give you a certificate.
3. Your blood sample
When you arrive at the clinic and you’ve shown your ID to the nurse, they will draw a blood sample for testing. Our nurses are all professionally trained to use a needle.
4. Now we’ll take care of your results
Once you’ve deposited your sample, we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll notify you of your results using our online portal as soon as they’re reported by the laboratory. You can then download your certificate or we’ll send it to you by post or email.
